QuickBooks error 3371 is a common QuickBooks error experienced by QuickBooks users frequently. It usually shows up when you upgrade QuickBooks or recently re-installed a copy.
Once you open QuickBooks after installing, it will show you error 3371, status code – 11118. Along with the following message that “QuickBooks could not load the license data”.

How to Fix QuickBooks Error 3371
Fixing QuickBooks error 3371 is quite simple. One should be able to fix it easily by following the instructions given below.
- Close QuickBooks
- Go to C:\ProgramData\Intuit\Entitlement Client\v8
- Delete Entitlementdatastore.ecml file
Once you have deleted Entitlementdatastore.ecml file. You can reopen QuickBooks. It should work perfectly fine.
The reason we deleted Entitlementdatastore.ecml file is that it was corrupted. Later, when we restart QuickBooks it would generate a new file which would be error free and your QuickBooks shoud work perfectly fine.
