Filtering a Report

 

Filters in QuickBooks enhances the reporting experience of the software. It help in generation customized reports based on Account, Amount, Date, Item (for the goods or services you sell), Memo (for your memo notes on transactions), Name (for customer, job, vendor, or employee names), Number (for transaction numbers like check numbers), and Type (for specific types of transactions like bills or invoices). QuickBooks filters helps to sort the reports as per your requirements. You can add and define your own filters in QuickBooks.

To change filters. Go to Reports > Report Center

In the report center, click on Customize Report and select the Filter tab.
